Dear Maranatha Families,

It is with deep sadness that I share some difficult news. This morning, our kindergarten teacher, Mrs. Kimberly Taylor, lost her husband unexpectedly. Please keep her and her family in your prayers during this difficult time.

“During this time of deep sorrow, I am leaning on my faith in Jesus Christ for strength, peace, and comfort. I believe wholeheartedly that God is near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18), and I am trusting in His grace to carry me and my family through.” -Mrs. Taylor

Overview

General Assembly (5–5:30 pm): all grades and families in the Sanctuary for vision cast and important information
Open House (5:30–7:00 pm): meet teachers, drop off school supplies, submit health forms, and more!

School Photos (Grades 9–12 only)

Grades 9–12 will be taking school pictures tonight! (reserve your spot here)
Pictures do not need to be in dress code, but should be modest/appropriate

Branding Wearhouse Orders (pick up tonight!)

All back-to-school orders placed before August 10 will be available for pick up tonight

Ice Cream Trucks!

Enjoy some ice cream during Back-to-School night!
Ice cream & shaved ice will be available for purchase
- as a thank you for spending time with us during the General Assembly at 5 pm, however, families in attendance will receive 1 complimentary ice cream ticket for each member in attendance

Note: PreK families can check their children into their classrooms starting at 4:30 pm to then attend the General Assembly. Pick-up students by 6:15 pm.
